Product Development Engineer

At KIC, I serve as the acting Mechanical Engineer, leading R&D, design, and testing for thermal profiling systems used in high-reliability electronics manufacturing. I work cross-functionally to develop hardware, improve software logic, and support both internal teams and customers across the globe.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing new mechanical systems in SolidWorks for both prototypes and production
  
  

• Leading the creation of custom testing equipment to reduce cycle time and increase defect detection
  
  

• Writing technical documentation including user manuals, test procedures, and assembly guides
  
  

• Collaborating with the software team to propose and integrate UI/logic improvements
  
  

• Providing emergency field service engineering support for system installations and testing
  
  

• Initiating and delivering training presentations that evolved into a company-wide program
